Two of the CLP’s active members, Martin Edwards and Jack Harris have created a Podcast that aims to provide a platform for local issues to be aired and for our local Labour MP, Councillors, CLP officials and local organisations to be interviewed and provide details of the work they undertake and the many successes they have achieved.
Martin and Jack have 12 guests currently lined up and with a plan to deliver a Podcast every two weeks that will take them to the end of October. They have additional guests in the pipeline to take them into 2026. Ten of the twelve booked guests are as you would image members of the local CLP, and include our MP Connor Naismith, plus local councillors Dawn Clarke and Marilyn Houston.
The next Podcast will be released on Friday 15 August, the guest will be Mick Tobin who is not only the hard working secretary of the CLP but he also volunteers with the charity LATH (Looking After The Homeless) so I am sure he will have plenty to cover.
There will also be guests who are none political, two of the first are representatives of the charity, Friends For Leisure – Gillian Jones

CLASP is the only organisation in South Cheshire offering specialist support for lone parent families in Crewe.
